over two decades as an acclaimed bassist, Luico Hopper has recorded and performed
in countless settings around the globe. He has toured, recorded and performed
with scores of artists including James Brown, BB King, Michael Bolton, Earl
Klugh, Bryan Ferry, Diana Ross, Gato Barbieri, Jonathan Butler and Luther
Vandross to name a few. In addition to performing, Luico is an accomplished equestrian. In 2001,
Luico won Grand Champion at the Devon Horse Show in the Pre-Adult division, and was voted number 1 in the NJHSA Pre Adult Equitation Division.
In addition to frequent appearances on the television shows, "New York
Undercover" and "Saturday Night Live", Luico was featured bassist
in the Broadway hit musicals, "Lion King", "Bring On 'Da Noise,
Bring on 'Da Funk" and "Dream Girls".
Luico's solo debut CD, "Lessons of Light" release in 1995 was critically
acclaimed. His rich mosaic of contemporary jazz and R&B with acoustic and electric flavor has soared to new dimensions
in his 2001 release of “Reflections”.

Currently working on his third CD release, Luico promises fans an “exciting musical ride”.
